Vehicle Description
I need a new truck: Bought this Tacoma with an ex who helped me do a bit of work to get her looking and working good, then he dumped me and three weeks later moved on with a yoga teacher… The truck is super fun to ride, I hope the yoga teacher isn't.
Previous Upgrades:
-Drop in bed liner
-After-market radio
-Originally had a supercharged engine, that had <180k on it and then was replaced with a 4-runner engine on it that had 136k on it, I’ve added another 2-3k miles. So estimating the chassis has about 200k on her
Brand new upgrades within the last 3 months:
- All new front suspension and steering components
-2.5 in lift/leveling kit
-Speaker system
-Wheels replaced
-Tires replaced
-Paint touch up
-Exhaust leak repair
-CV boot replacements
-Rack and pinion replacement
-Oil change w/ oil filter
-Windshield wipers new
-Windshield fluid leak connector replaced
-Recently aligned
-Headlights cleaned
-Crank shaft position sensor repaired
-Brand new battery
-New breaks
-New cold air intake
Items requiring buyer attention:
-Locks don’t match key
-Passenger window (stopped working when speakers were installed, likely not grounded)
-Passenger door handle ($5 on amazon, easy to replace)
-Passenger seat belt (works sometimes)
-Check engine light (catalytic converter code as per mechanic)
Free gifts with purchase: Original tires and wheels (may be nice to put studded tires on for the winter etc.). Also, two additional brand new wheels that had chipped paint en-route to Fargo will be included in case a current wheel gets legitimately damaged these ones have only slight cosmetic damage that could be fixed with paint or ignored).
This price was set by adding the price of the improvements made on the truck with my original purchase price. I am making a $0 profit at this price because I don’t want any bad karma. If you don’t like the price, look for another truck.
Trades for other trucks or off road vehicles may be considered, however trades for other grease monkey boyfriends are unlikely to be considered.
