Vehicle Description
Desert Dune Metallic Pearl, 3.4L V6, sun roof, Weather Tech floor liners throughout, 16 inch tires, automatic.
The 1999 year had taller shocks/suspension parts from the factory.
Bought newer vehicle, so I have to find a new home for this cool truck.
Good truck with major under hood maintenance done, but needs a few more things fixed.
Many parts replaced with OEM, have receipts, too many to list here.
New Toyota front upper and lower left and right ball joints come with truck for new owner to install.
Valve cover / intake gaskets, plugs, wires, several intake related hoses, etc. replaced in 2017 by myself.
Fresh OEM 15-part timing belt kit with water pump, seals, etc. installed in May by myself.
Pressure washed engine bay if needed, under carriage regularly.
Important things it needs:
-Right rear frame has a rust hole, but the rest of the frame looks better than most MI vehicles.
-Needs dash fuel gauge/computer board replaced; not difficult, according to internet videos.
-Needs fuel valve assembly on tank replaced (have to drop the tank); leaks vapors when under pressure, and I think it causes it to run rich also.
-Rear hatch had something happen before me, and it rattles, so it needs to be bent back or adjusted.
-Runs good, but at 3,500 RPM it stumbles. It didn't do this before the T-belt job, so maybe the Crank Position Sensor just got dirty? If not, research says Crank Position Sensor or Coil Pack(s). Relatively easy fix.
-Rear aluminum brake lever thing is corroded/frozen and needs to be replaced for better brake performance. This is important for adjusting the rear brakes with parking brake use, thus better braking. Cable looks good.
