Vehicle Description
I’m selling my 1999 RWD Chevy Astro Van that is build out to van camp in.
INTERIOR BUILD OUT -
Eco Foam board insulation completely lines the ceiling, walls and floor inside the van (this foam protects against moisture and mold)
Ceiling is tongue and groove cedar paneling (smells amazing and helps with moisture)
Floor has insulation, 1/2 inch plywood and then vinyl flooring cut perfectly to size (completely sealed to protect from water damage)
There are three shelves and a “panty” box for storage built into the van
All of the windows have curtains all custom to window sizes (slide on picture wire)
Remote controlled battery lights that are dimmable
The bed is a full sized mattress that folds in half when storing the bed away, the bed frame slides into itself when putting away for daytime.
A magnet board that included magnet containers to hold your spices.
The sun visors material was getting old so they are now covered in recycled fleece!
The two front seats are in great shape, the interior arm rests of both are just metal (not sure why) but the exterior arm rests are still ok.
Dash board has some cracking (looks like someone stuck something too it and then ripped it off) Normal sun discoloration on a 23 year old car.
Radio works great! It ate my tape deck so that is stuck in there - I just can’t figure out how to get it out 🙂
Included on the interior there are two totes that slide under the bed for added storage and a water jug and the mattress.
EXTERIOR/MECHANICAL -
105,200 original miles on this van, drives great! Just came back from the shop and they said everything it’s running great.
It is RWD which all terrain tires on it.
Regular oil changes, no oil leak. Next one needed at 107,000.
Brand new alternator, battery, and fuel injectors ($1650 just put into it)
Added 2 inch hitch receiver on it, great for bike racks, no plug in for towing lights.
Bumper, grill, wheels and decals blacked out.
Easily goes the Montana speed limits without shake.
The passenger side window does not go down, needs a new window motor (Amazon $40 dollars)
Windshield is cracked (Who’s isn’t! 😂)
Awning and ski box are included, the bike rack is not.
Please reach out with any questions, I am open to offers or trades.
