This civic is in excellent mechanical condition and has been properly maintained its entire life. If you are familiar with Honda maintenance, you know the timing belts need replaced every 100K miles roughly. At 215K miles the timing belt was changed (for the 2nd time) along with all new head gaskets, new SS exhaust pipe and catalytic, both front axles, wheel bearings, brake pads and rotors, transmission bearings/seals/fluid, new tires, battery, and more.

The car does come with an awesome $700 remote start and alarm system with a two-way remote. The key fob has a LED display screen that will show you if it is locked, running, and even being broken into (which has never happened). The civic is also equipped with a trailer hitch and light hookup, although its towing capacity is practically nothing :)

I am the third owner, my parents being the second, and I have completed maintenance records showing everything that has ever been done to the car going back to 39K miles. The car has a clean title, no accidents, and has never been driven hard. I get 29 mpg city and 33 highway.

Interior is darn near flawless with the exception of the carpet by your feet being stained. There are no rips, holes, stains, or wear marks on any of the seats. There is also a tilt and sliding sun roof, power mirrors/windows/locks, tilt wheel, and cruise control.

It leaks just a tad bit of oil (as do all 95-00 civics) and has been doing so at the same rate for the last 100K miles. Not really a big deal, less than a quart every few months.

This car has been an excellent daily driver and is extremely reliable and efficient. With the maintenance that has been done recently, this car will easily make it another 100K plus miles before needing anything more than an oil change, it also has a K&N air filter which is guaranteed for life.
