Vehicle Description
For sale is a very well kept and maintained 3000GT SL(naturally aspirated 10:1 3.0L V6). The transmission has 158k on it and the engine has 122k. This is an extremely rare car.
How rare? In '99 Mitsubishi only made approximately 1,044 SL submodel 3000GTs. The '99 is the most desirable model for the 3000GT, it was the last year Mitsubishi made 3000GTs and was the only year that they were produced with the wide mouth grille and the bubble headlight buckets. Furthermore, the pearl white paint with the black interior was very uncommon, as these cars usually have tan interiors. All four of the halogen projectors in the headlight buckets have been replaced with high quality Morimoto low beam HID projectors, and LED halos have been added that turn amber when you signal. Add to that the intake and exhaust work (high-flow intake, headers and catback) and you have a legitimately one-of-a-kind car.
As far as maintenance goes, pretty much everything has been done, see below for details. This car has been very well maintained in all respects.
-Timing belt, water pump, spark plugs and wires were just done at 190k
-Entire clutch job (clutch kit+flywheel), rear main seal and gear oil just done at 192k
-Oil just changed at 190k
-Front lower control arms including ball joints replaced at 180k
-Strut cartridges + shocks changed at 145k
-High quality Optima Red Top battery
-Nice Konig rims and very new tires
-Maintenance always done strictly to manufacturer's recommendations
-Fluids always done at proper intervals with high quality synthetic fluids
Aesthetically the car is in great shape as well.
-Tinted windows
-Sunroof works
-High quality seat covers installed up front
-0 AWG wires have been installed for battery to alternator, alternator to ground and battery to ground.
-Relay installed behind hazard light switch to stop turn signal voltage drop
-Aftermarket stereo and speakers
-Short throw shifter
-Free custom 10" fiberglass sub box with the car
The negative aspects of the car are listed below:
-The AC compressor has been removed, and I still have the AC compressor core and all the plumbing
-There is a faint scrape in the paint on the back bumper from rubbing against a bush (see pictures)
-There are some small chips in the bumper from the road (see pictures)
Overall this is a very rare car in fantastic condition and should not need any real maintenance for at least another 30k. Feel free to email with any questions.
