Vehicle Description
For sale: an excellent and well kept example from the Porsche 996 family. This 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera has low miles: 38K, and the highly desirable 6 speed manual transmission. Garage kept its whole life.
Just three owners (and within only two households) in 20 years.
Black exterior. Butterscotch leather interior.
No accidents; should have a clean CARFAX should you care to run one as I did when I purchased it.
Clean title.
The vehicle is entirely stock, except for the good news:
-IMS Bearing replaced on 10/23/17 with LN Engineering's upgraded "Total Solution" (oil cooled version-part number IMSS1234.)
-Rear Main Seal (RMS) replaced at the same time. Documentation for both services available. Work performed by European Classics of Atlanta.
-The clutch has less than 8,000 miles on it.
-The car has never been tracked.
Picture of the build codes attached to this posting. Some of the highlights include: sunroof, leather front seats, rear seats, dash, and door panels. Heated front seats, electric seats, memory driver's seat, wheel locks.
Bridgestone Potenza tires are in very good shape. Basic maintenance has been kept up to date. Mobil 1 synthetic oil changes every 3K miles.
Recently retired from "up north" to the Athens, GA area. Income has come way down. Wife says it's time to sell the toy cars.
The Hagerty collector car valuation tool says an Excellent example of this car (rated as a 2) is worth $29K. A Good Example (rated as a 3) is worth $22K. Values are starting to move up sharply, and with some elbow grease and a professional detailing, you’ll have built in equity.
If you are looking for an Excellent low mileage example of an affordable entry level Porsche 911 to drive, or for your collection, please feel free to reach out via email, text, or phone. Thanks for looking.
