This car is the reason people buy Toyotas. It has an impressive 464k on the odometer and still drives like new. Strong engine, smooth transmission, very economical, very clean interior makes it the perfect commuter car or beginning driver car. This vehicle was purchased brand new by my uncle who owned it until last year, when his health no longer permitted him to drive it. Hating to see such a good car go to waste sitting in his driveway, I decided to take it to California where I smogged and registered it. It was used by various members of the family as an extra vehicle for trips here and there. I have taken it on a couple trips to Oregon and multiple times between California and Nevada myself, with absolutely no mechanical issues. Cosmetically it is starting to show its age here and there, but that is to be expected given its age and color. I am hoping that this car will go to someone who will appreciate it and take good care of it. It is not a car that we need to sell, but rather chose to as it is no longer being used much. My truck finally came out of the shop and frankly I get more use out of that due to my business.
