Vehicle Description
1999 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off road prerunner v6 automatic. 2wd prerunner model. 213k miles. Runs and drives great. I've owned this truck for 3 years, putting just over 13k miles on it during that time. It is in excellent shape for a 21 year old truck, but it is a 21 year old truck. The body has dings and scratches, but the interior is in excellent shape. I take very good care of my vehicles, high quality or OEM parts were used when making repairs.
The following parts have less than 10k miles on them:
-Upper and lower control arms including all bushings
-Upper and lower ball joints
-Brake pads/rotors/shoes/drums
-Rear shocks/leaf springs
-Steering rack/power steering pump
-Rear wheel bearings/axle seals
-Differential fluid changed
-Valve cover gaskets
-transmission mount
-driveshaft carrier bearing
-shifter bushings
The radio was upgraded to a unit with Bluetooth, and the front speakers were upgraded. Windows were tinted using ceramic tint.
The timing belt and water pump were replaced by the previous owner at 200k miles.
I have a binder full of service history dating back to when the truck was new to now.
The bad: it idles a little low which causes it to idle a little rough, most people probably wouldn't notice but I'm very particular about my vehicles. It's never stalled, and I don't think it's difficult to raise the idle. It has a slow oil seep from the front of the oil pan, it doesn't drip on the ground. The airbag light is on, I had it looked at and it's the airbag switch for the passenger seat (to turn the airbag off). They are about $100 used, it's never bothered me.
