Vehicle Description
1999 Volkswagen Cabrio. Red with Black top and Black Leather interior. 2.0L 4 cylinder with 5spd manual transmission. Wolfsburg edition. Body and interior are both in nice condition. There is no rust on the body. Power windows (one touch up/down), Locks, Brakes, Steering, and Mirrors. Car runs and rides great.
Maintenance done within the last 1000 miles:
*Timing belt
*Shifter linkage and bushings
*Passenger side engine mount
*Driver side lower ball joint
*New Rear Tires
*Alignment
*Radiator
*Coolant pipe and overflow bottle
*Oil & Filter change
*Battery
*Engine Speed sensor (Crank Position Sensor)
This car passed MD inspection only 1500 miles ago and I am confident it will pass again with no issues. My wife only drove this car a couple months mostly to and from work in DC before she passed away. It has been sitting in the garage since then. I'm ready to let it go.
White hood is due a deer strike that bent up the hood and grill.
Aside from the white hood, the AC does not work, and there is no stereo. I have the adapter harness and will install a stereo if you have one. The wiring and speakers are fine.
