Vehicle Description
She's old. She's bland. But, she gets you from A to B every time.
I bought this TL three years ago, and it was not running well at all. The previous owner had some bad times and wasn't able to maintain it for a good while. Conveniently, it's a Honda under that badge, so with some time and effort, I had it running just as well and reliably as you would expect a Honda to.
It has a few dents. Some from past owners, some from me. But nothing terribly unsightly.
It's made it to the moon so far (~240k miles). It very well could make it back if you keep the oil changed. And yes, the A/C works fine.
I have fairly extensive records on everything that's been done in these past three years, and some from the previous owner as well.
Highlights:
- just had it in to the dealership to check the airbag for the Takata recall. Received a clean bill of health while it was there (see attached image. The "bad battery" is just because I'm not driving it much)
- just replaced the rear brake pads
- just changed the oil
- engine mounts have all been replaced at various times during ownership
- replaced radiator cap in February
- replaced battery in October 2018 (245k miles)
- changed front brake pads in February 2018 (242k miles)
- replaced raditor in August 2017 (240k miles)
- replaced O2 sensors and exhaust seals in July 2017 (240k miles)
- new Bridgstone tires in May 2017 (237k miles)
- new alternator and belt in May 2017 (237k miles)
Current Issues?
It does have a cracked windshield. It has been that way since I got it. Hasn't gotten any worse. Surprisingly, hasn't gotten any better, either.
Contact me through Craigslist's email. I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about it.
