Vehicle Description
This is my daily driver since 2018. Got a new car so decided to sell it.
All maintenance was done by myself since I got it. Only use synthetic oil and follows recommanded maintenance schedule.
All fluid and filters were replaced recently (except transmission fluid). Here is some record:
Oil and oil filter changed at 199,702 miles;
Power steering flushed at 197,048 miles;
All 6 spark plugs and one broken coil pack replaced at 196,600 miles;
Air filter and cabin filter changed at 195,290 miles;
PCV valve changed recently (roughly at 199,700).
The car driver surprisingly good for a 20-year old car. Engine is quite and not shaky, startup is very quick and smooth. Chassis feels solid. Everything inside works. In addition, it has a tow hitch so you can tow a single axle trailer with it.
Some flaws:
Engine has a minor leak, approx 1~2 drops every night you've used that car (engine got hot so prone to leak), no drop if you keep the car cold for a long time;
Under some situations (certain gas pedal angle under certain speed), transmission may vibrate when shifting from 3rd to 4th. You'll master how to avoid that situation easily once you know when it will happen. It hasn't happened to me for a year or so.
Other than the flaws above, it's a very strong car. Will last for another 100k if maintained properly :)
P.S. Some say the transmission problem is caused by bad pressure sensors so it can be fixed by replacing these sensors and do a transmission fluid change. I can do this for you if you really want this car. Of course, you have to buy the parts and fluid for it.
