Vehicle Description
I bought this 2 years ago to tow our snowmobiles around town and go up north and drop the 20ft boat in the water in the water from time to time.(basically a people hauler without the mini van shame)
The GOOD:
I replaced and have receipts and an excel spreadsheet to show it:
- 90% of the front end updated with new parts
- The entire brake line system which are now currently Stainless Steel (dont buy others with the stock Brake lines $3K shop job)
- Brake pads and rotors
- Suspension in the front and back
- upper and lower control arms, ball joints
- spark plugs and coil packs
- Wheel Hub assembly this spring
- Starter fall of 17
- New battery spring of 17
- 5.3 engine
- 4 wheel drive
- 7 way plug for electronic trailer brakes and a 7 to 4 way plug to conventional
- Installed the back 2 seats for it fits 3 people in the front, 3 in the middle and 2 in the back
- Clean the car with a toothbrush annual to keep it in great interior shape
- This car has been nothing but great to me only reason for selling it is I bought a 2006 Chevy Suburban to allow for a little more space for us and to get heated seats for the long hauls when snowmobiling.
- You are saving thousands as i bought it and spend $4,000 + on hardware parts to get this baby cross country worthy (might not be the most beautiful on the outside but on the inside its clean and underneath the body its pure and ready for another 250K miles)
- Parts for this car are everywhere, Super cheap and inexpensive repairs. These run FOREVER!!!
Car History:
1st owner - Put 30K miles on a year brought it to Merit Chev its whole life
2nd owner - The Mechanic at Merit Chev bought it from him 15K miles a year. Only sold due to upgrading to a Chevy Suburban
ME - Needed a reliable Tahoe to haul sleds and the boat up north. Brought replaced the drive system parts to ensure it was comfy and safe. Now bought a bigger one so I want to pass this on to the next person.
YOU - Smart to buy this based on its history and uogrades
The not so good.
- Rust on the lower part of some of the doors
- Rocker panels are rusted a decent amount as well
- Miles currently 300K i have only put 8,000 miles on it but put $4,000 into the car to avoid an expensive new car and high insurance payments
Please serious inquiries only. This won't last long as the reliability of it is way higher than everyone else's because i spend money on reliability and parts than one that didn't have rust on it. SAVE THOUSANDS by not getting nickeled and dimed by everyone else's. Don't mess with others and their banks i have a CLEAN TITLE IN HAND
