Vehicle Description
2000 Ford E-250 V8 cargo van
Hey craigslisters, I have for sale(or trade+cash) a ford e-250 cargo van converted for van life, or camping, or you can strip what I’ve done and use it as a work van. It is not complete but still working on it until it sells. Plans have changed and I can no longer keep this van. So let’s dive in.
This van sits at 181k miles, regular oil changes, just had a bunch of services done, have records(no records of anything from before I owned it), had a mechanic look it over and give a print out of things that need to be done eventually, transmission seems good, have had no issues that I notice. Has the 5.7 V8 triton, tough motor with lots of power and lots of life, brand new tires all way round, less then 500 miles on them, no leaks anywhere(sealed the one that I found, rear window seals may need replacing at some point). Comes with heavy duty lumber rack. Mechanically this van is in pretty good shape, a little dirty underneath but it’s 19years old so it’s expected, minor surface rust on the roof and odd spots around the outside, a painter owned this van before me so there is paint splatter on the interior but I don’t mind it(it’s an adventure van), I pulled the flooring from cargo area, cleaned, and laid down a VanRug(custom fitted) flooring for comfort and insulation, it’s also water/oil proof and stain/tear resistant. Some of the things I have done are insulation all around, full size bed, plastic dresser, kitchen/storage combo. No sink or plumbing or electrical work done, There is a lot of little things that need to be done, but I tried to keep it budget friendly and minimal, though I will continue to add things as time allows. These are awesome vans and it needs a little work aesthetically but overall it’s comfy and does what I need, price is always negotiable, as for trade I am looking to get something with better mpg, preferring a Subaru, or a 4x4 Toyota. Please ask any questions as I didn’t want to make this any longer then it is, these vans are known to go forever and I am unfortunately in a situation where I have to sell, anyways thanks for reading my names Colton you can reach me via email or phone number above.
