ISSUES INCLUDE:
None that I know of other than an Factory Defect oil sweat issue that can drip down onto the exhaust pipe which stinks a little after a road trip. I have noticed it more in the winter on this truck when I don’t let the truck warm up in the morning. I knew about this when I bought the truck and thought it was a rear main seal leak, but the mechanic told me it was a common leak from head gasket area in this year, however it really wasn’t necessary to fix unless you needed head gasket work for other reasons.
In December I drove this truck out of state for an almost 5,000-mile round trip and it didn’t even burn, or leak or enough oil to register a quart low on the stick.
In the summer, I don’t notice it is much, but it’s mostly an inconvenience of occasional burn smell in the winter. Please see Ford Tech Bulletin Below…

Description: SOME VEHICLES MAY EXHIBIT A SLIGHT OIL LEAK AT THE CYLINDER HEAD TO BLOCK JOINT.
ISSUE
Some vehicles equipped with the Romeo built 4.6L 2V engine or 5.4L 2V Windsor and 5.4L Supercharged engine may exhibit an oil leak or oil weepage from the cylinder head gasket at the right hand rear or the left hand front of the engine. Oil weepage is not considered detrimental to engine performance or durability. An oil leak may be caused by metal chip debris lodged between the head gasket and the block, chip debris between the cylinder head and the head gasket, or by damage to the cylinder head sealing surface that occurred during the manufacturing process.
FINALLY:
This has been a great truck in the short amount of time I have owned it, and as you can see by the information above, I take good care and do a lot of preventative maintenance to my vehicles. I really don’t want to sell it as it is built well for my line of work, but I have come across a good deal on another vehicle and don’t have the need to keep both.
Asking Price is $12,900
Vehicle it is super clean inside and in very good condition with lots of $ put into it and lots of miles left
