Vehicle Description
Up for sale is my 2000 GMC K2500 long bed 3/4 ton four wheel drive. I bought this truck from a local telecom company where it lived it's life as a fleet rig.
Starts right up every time, runs and drives excellent with no issues whatsoever. Very reliable truck, it was my daily driver but I have been fortunate enough to upgrade and this truck simply isn't being used anymore.
Engine is a 5.7 fuel injected vortec v8 that runs strong.
35 gallon fuel tank.
Transmission flush and filter change about 250 miles ago.
Tune up less than 100 miles ago including brass contact cap and rotor, ac delco iridium plugs, 8.5mm high performance plug wires, and partial synthetic high mileage oil change with filter.
Mastercraft courser MXT mud terrain tires with a good 90% tread left.
All lighting in the cab has been converted to LED.
Brand new headlight and marker/turn signal housings along with LED headlight bulbs added last month.
Brand new pioneer stereo with bluetooth added last month. Works great, auto connects to my phone every time. I also have a pair of brand new sony door speakers that I haven't gotten around to installing that I'm happy to include.
Brand new lifetime warranty fuel pump installed in September.
Bed liner, bed rail caps, and window visors all added this fall.
Last month I also added an OBD2 simple plug and play programmer to help with fuel economy but haven't driven the truck enough since to see it's full effects and calculate mileage increase. It takes time to learn your driving habits and re map the computer. It did improve throttle response and liven the engine up a bit with the few trips I have made in it since. I was getting 11mpg before recent tune up but people report 15+mpg with the addition of the programmer.
Driver's side of the bench has a chunk of foam missing, as you can see in pictures. I placed a piece of memory foam there under the seat cover and its worked just fine for me. Otherwise the bench is in good shape and functions well. Seat cover is included.
Overall there are plenty of scratches and dings here and there, and some larger chips on the hood that I touched up but the paint doesn't match perfectly which can be noticed up close.
Clean washington title in hand. Asking 8,500. Open to reasonable negotiation but will dismiss low ball offers. You'll have a hard time finding a comparable truck for less than 10k these days.
