Vehicle Description
For your consideration is my 2000 Honda Civic Si in the Electron Blue Pearl color. There are a few dings around the car, the rear bumper has an area that is scraped a little (could use repainting on rear bumper). The interior cover for the sunroof that you can slide back and forth is a little tattered. The car is overall in good condition for a nearly 20 year old Honda. The Si retains all factory VIN tags, except on the driver side front fender, which I assume has been repainted prior to my ownership. There is a slight difference in vibrancy in the paint between the hood and that fender. The Si retains its factory B16A2 DOHC VTEC engine and matching 5 speed manual transmission.
Everything works on the car including air conditioning, power steering, cruise control, heat, power mirrors, power windows, power locks, key fob, power sunroof, etc.
During my ownership I have had the following items replaced (all less than 1000 miles ago):
New OEM Honda headlight assemblies
New Exedy OEM replacement clutch
New ACT flywheel
New DC Sports exhaust header
New catalytic converter
New pre and post catalytic converter oxygen sensors
New power steering rack
New Moog front lower control arms with bushings
New Moog front lower ball joints
New Moog outer tie rods
New Moog rear trailing arm bushings
New Hardrace front compliance bushings
New Hardrace front camber kit
New Hardrace rear camber kit
New Hardrace rear lower control arm bushings
New Hardrace front and rear sway bar endlinks
New Wicked Tuning rear toe links
New Energy Suspension shifter bushings
New Continental serpentine belts (A/C, PS, alternator)
New Wix fuel filter
New OEM Honda driver side window rubber channel (window was slow to go up & down, not anymore)
Four wheel alignment
New Pioneer Bluetooth Headunit
I just wanted a car with all fresh suspension bushings and glad to have it done and all good to go.
Suspension is handled by Koni Yellow Sport Shocks with Eibach Ground Control coilovers. The cat back exhaust is the Apexi World Sport 2. The previous owner stated he had the timing belt and brakes done at around 150,000 miles.
The car is sitting on a new set of Rota Slipstream wheels wrapped in new Falken Azenis RT615K+ 205/50/15 tires, this setup has less than 1000 miles on it.
So in summary it is a respectable example of the increasingly hard to find EM1 Civic Si in the color you want that isn't completely clapped out or rusted away. Having all of the suspension bushings replaced is nice peace of mind knowing everything is fresh.
The car really needs nothing except maybe some paintless dent repair on some of the various dings around the car and the rear bumper repainted. It's in good working order and the interior is nice.
Clean title in hand. No trades.
Thanks for looking!
