Vehicle Description
Jaguar Type S sedan 2000
I had to pass this sedan one too many times. I think it’s uniquely beautiful at a time all cars look much alike. It is a true luxury car. The leather seats are a joy. Things like an electric steering wheel adjust amaze me. It has a 5 CD cartridge that inserts in the glove compartment.
Electric sunroof.
I’m moving and will sadly not have a place for it. It has a V8 with turbo and has impressive acceleration. I’ve never owned a car that handles so well. Drive this one home on its new set of tires.
You can see from the photos that the car has been well cared for. The interior is almost like new.
I bumped the open trunk lid and bent it while backing into a shed. Cursing followed. I found a replacement hood in Alabama and bought it. So, the trunk lid has been replaced but it needs matching paint. There is also a small dent on the right rear.
Why the low miles?
The previous owner dropped her keys unnoticed in the snow. (By the way, these are unusual looking keys.) Frustrated, the owner left the car garaged. Ten years later, her neighbor spotted something shiny while mowing his yard; the key. By this time the owner was driving another car. I spotted this Jag for sale but now I have to let it go. You win.
