2000 Lexus GS400 Platinum Edition. Very rare and hard to find. Has a superfast 4.0 liter 8 cylinder engine. Low mileage for a 2000 model. Very dependable. This is not an ES300 (dime a dozen) or a GS300 which are both 6 cylinder vehicles with a lower value. Car Purchased in 2015. Has been used as a daily driver both at the University and now at work. Car runs excellent. Has newer tires (all less than 2 years old). We have purchased a newer vehicle and no longer need this car (we have 5 cars).

Gold with tan interior. 179,000 miles. These autos are hard to find in this price range because owners rarely sell them. They get passed down to other family members. Engines will go at least 400K miles if taken care of! This is a perfect car for a student or someone looking for a quality vehicle at a low (wholesale) price point. Vehicle is in Newport News.

This vehicle could easily be considered "good" but we are only asking $1,950 because the car is less than perfect and we would prefer not to have to drive 13 hours on Sunday. Here is a list of imperfections:

1) Power steering leak. You can just add fluid and keep driving or you can fix it if you want to.
2) Valve cover gaskets could use tightening. Blows some smoke the first time you use it for the day. After that it does not. This does not need immediate repair. You can just drive it the way it is if you want to. My mechanic said he can fix it for $250.
3) Front fender is dented
4) Driver seat could use a seat cover because leather is worn and has tears.

Other than that AC works great, transmission is smooth, and engine is powerful and quiet.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO FIX ANYTHING TODAY. You can just drive it the way it is until you are ready to fix it.

You will probably never see another GS400 Platinum Series at this price again! So if you are interested move fast! You will not find a better made vehicle for $1,750.
