Vehicle Description
Up for sale is a 2000 trans am ws6 6 speed car with 89,*** miles. I’m the third owner of the car and have known the car since 2002 when a friend of mine bought it. The car is in good shape for its age with many tasteful mods such as long tube stainless headers, borla muffler, stainless 3 inch y pipe, bmr adjustable pan hard bar, bmr adjustable torque arm, bmr lowering springs, koni single adjustable shocks, b&m short throw shifter, custom tuning, c5 wheels, arp front wheel studs, wheel spacers front and back and an slp air box (k&n filter), and a drivers side window motor.
The car also has many new parts that have been replaced since I bought the car a little over a year and a half ago such as, new Ac condenser, new power steering pump, all fluids changed ( differential, transmission, clutch, coolant, oil), new master cylinder and braided clutch line, speakers in the rear direct from gm for the monsoon sound system, tinted windows, and universal joints. The last owner did head gaskets and had the heads gone through and checked while they were off just before I got the car. All gm gaskets and bolts were used to reassemble the top end. The reason for the head gaskets being replaced is do to the power steering cooler which is located in the upper rad hose cracked and leaked power steering fluid into the coolant track and wiped out the gaskets. The car was removed from the road and repaired as soon as the problem was found, it never was severely overheated because of the issue.
Everything in the car works as it should and for its age it’s a very solid car. The previous owner had the underside rust proofed to help keep the car in as good of shape as possible. There is no rust on the body or any heavy scaling on the underside. Just typical surface rust here and there on the differential and such.
Car was inspected in May and everything is good to go. I only put handful of miles on the car since I owned it so all the parts are pretty much new. If you have any question about the car or what to take a look at it shoot me a text and I’ll get back to you with an answer.
The reason for selling the car is I never really drive it and I have other priorities and hobby’s that’s I rather devote the money and time to.
only cons I can really come up with for the car are minor things such as the passenger side window goes up slow due to the age of the window motor, the volume knob on the stereo is a little touchy the there are some minor paint chips around the front end and lower side of the car from normal driving.
Have the stock suspension parts and springs also that will go with the car as well as a car cover.
