Vehicle Description
Up for sale is my 2000 Porsche 911 Carrera Convertible in Ocean Blue Metallic over Savannah Beige and a 6-speed manual transmission. Car has been meticulously maintained and will come with color matched hardtop as well. There has been extensive care of this car, and with an engine refresh, transmission replacement, new suspension retrofit, and interior refresh this is an excellent driver's car that drives much closer to a new car than a lot of the other 996s out there. IMS has been addressed with an L&N retrofit and photos show the serial number in the engine bay.
Below you will see the list of options, plus work that was done both before my ownership and since my ownership. But highlights include a major refresh of the engine at 111K, replacement of the transmission with a low mile unit in 2018, major suspension refresh including conversion to US M030 sport suspension, IMS replacement, reupholstering the seats last year and more. Receipts for all of this work is included. I have service records dating back to 2005. The car has Fabspeed straight pipes with Car Chemistry baffles in them, so it is quite loud but sounds excellent. Car has primarily been a southern car until late 2017 when I bought it and flew down to pick up the car in Alabama and drive it back. The Ocean Blue Metallic is a really great color, showing almost navy when overcast and a much brighter blue in the sun. I've tried to capture in the photos. The Savannah Beige interior works very well with the exterior color.
Car runs, drives, and handles beautifully. New suspension is nice and tight and everything operates excellent. There are a few small cosmetic blemishes that I tried to highlight in the photos.
