Vehicle Description
2000 Subaru Legacy Outback
2.5l engine, 5-speed (manual)
I purchased the car in 2016 at 228k, the timing chamber was refurbished at this time. Now at 263k so brackets, pulleys, belt, pump have only 35k on them.
In 2017 the wheel bearings and brakes were done.
This year the rack/pinion steering was replaced, including tie rods, on both sides.
Battery replaced also when steering was done. The fluids have been maintained, complete with scheduled flushes, records to show it - along with the original Carfax report I received when I bought the car.
What it needs:
New windshield (pictured)
New tires
New gas cap (sometimes trips the check engine light, best to get a new one directly from Subaru)
New clutch? (They’ve been telling me this for two years! But it probably will need it soon.)
Don’t ask about head gaskets, I don’t know - has never overheated under my care, and I’ve driven it long distances in brutal summer heat.
Firm on $2000, as this is a reliable, mechanically sound vehicle. The interior is in pretty good shape, better than you’d expect for a 20yo car. After market stereo w/remote included.
If the ad is still up, the car is still available. show contact info
