Vehicle Description
Just in time for Spring!
This is a two owner (I am the 2nd owner) MK1 Series Quattro (all wheel drive) 1.8L/180 HP hp 6-speed Quattro TT roadster. The Car Fax is clean (available to be seen/read at physical inspection by interested buyer but I will not email). Very recent multipoint inspection report shown in pic. It is in very good condition, with some tastefully added mods and an exceptionally low-mileage (sub 52,000 miles) vehicle. It has never been a daily driver, hence the low mileage. Always garaged. No door dings or noticeable paint scratches. Prior and current owner are non-smokers. (please note the photos, except the feature pic, are as of yesterday and before a proper washing)
Among many others, it has had the following repairs and service: Convertible top window glass securely rebound to the fabric (very recently), air bag recall performed (very recently), timing belt replaced (at 44k miles), fuel pump replaced, water pump replaced, oil changed (very recently) and instrument cluster module rebuilt (recently). A fresh set of Michelin tires were put on January of 2020 and only have about 3,000 miles on them since. Comprehensively serviced at 40k miles, next recommended service is 60k.
You'll find most everything operates as it should: audio system, cruise control, heated seats, AC/climate control/ventilation. Paint looks good, drives real well, no fabric holes or rips to the convertible top.
Modifications:
· After market Euro headlights and tail lens (way cool looking)
· Bluetooth cassette module interface for radio system
· Factory logo floor mats
· Custom bike rack is made specifically for this model. (holds two bikes, bike shown in pics is an example, not for sale)
I have all service records going back to when I bought and took possession of the vehicle in January 2010. Included are owner's manual and specifications booklets and the Navigation disk (but rather useless in this age of mobile phone GPS).
Flaws/Issues:
· Glove box latch is broken but it still closes tight, however you cannot lock it.
· ABS indicator illuminates when the vehicle is accelerated aggressively. This has been confirmed as a sensor issue only, the brakes work properly and safely just as they are supposed to.
· Some creasing to leather on driver's seat. It can be treated to look as new, check YouTube how-tos.
· Some curb scuffs on wheels.
The Audi MK1 TTs (2000-2005) are already considered "modern classics" and are retaining, if not appreciating, in value.
Payment: Cash, bank wire transfer or PayPal. Personal or cashier/certified checks NOT accepted. If buyer is not local, they must make arrangements for pickup and delivery.
