Reason for selling is just got married, starting a family, gonna have to buy a 4 door sedan or SUV.
Super sad to let her go, she's been my baby/daily driver for over 3 years. Purchased from a college student who's parents bought him a new one. ;)
Only cons are aesthetic: driver's seat is torn, nothing terrible but definitely gonna need to be reupholstered. The passenger's one is still ok but if you're gonna do one, might as well do the other. The armrests will need to redone as well. (I have the leather pieces specifically for the three armrests, just never got around to installing them.)
I got a quote in K Town for $300 for each seat, and $90 per armrest.
Other than that just a couple minor quirks that any older car will have. Sometimes you'll have to push the key FOB a couple times for the doors to unlock, or just open manually. Couple super minor scuffs that you can't even see in the pictures. Back left wheel has some minor wear/scratches on it from parallel parking against the curb. That's pretty much it.
Why am I selling it for so much when the Kelly Blue Book value is supposedly between $5,000 - $6,000?
Because this is a one of a kind car you won't find anywhere else, in practically perfect mechanically condition that has another 100,000 miles in it, easy. It's a collector's car, a true BMW lover's car, and I know that somewhere out there, someone will see it's value and love it just as much as I do.
I'm also in no rush to sell, so please don't send lowball offers.
TEXT or CALL anytime, and I'm pretty much available to show it anytime as well. Location is in Santa Monica.
Happy car hunting!
Alex
