Vehicle Description
This is a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS. It features the 5.3L V8 engine and is 4wd capable. It's a great running and driving truck and is a lot of fun to drive around. There are 3 issues that I know of with the truck.
1. It'll need a new AC compressor, the current one doesn't have a belt routed to it and if I had to guess I'd say it's because it went bad so I'd suggest replacing it.
2. The fan mode door actuator in the cab needs replaced. This controls switching the interior vents from foot, to body, to defrost vents. You can manually do it or put a new part in. I have a part but wasn't having luck getting it in.
3. The windshield washer needs a new line put in. The previous one weathered away. I have a new line for it but never got the time to put it in.
Aside from these few issues, mechanically the truck is sound and a great driver. These problems could all be taken care of, or really just left alone as they don't actually affect driving at all. Thanks for looking!
