Vehicle Description
I am the 2nd owner of this truck, and bought it when it had 110k miles; it now has just under 226k miles. I bought a newer truck a few years ago, and have decided it's time to sell this one. It has the legendary 7.3 liter turbo diesel. We've upgraded the transmission to match the motor (see below). It is an automatic transmission, crew cab, 3/4 ton bed with a gooseneck ball. Toyo mud terrain (MT) tires will need replacing soon, but have never had a flat.
Transmission: I added a custom-built, heavy duty transmission (paid $8,000 from Transmission Warehouse in Boise) and have put approximately 60k miles on it since. It uses synthetic oil, and I upgraded the oil pan which adds an additional 5 gallons. Also has a 40,000 lb transmission cooling radiator, and a triple disc Dodge torque convertor.
