Vehicle Description
If the ad is up these cars are still available!
I have two extremely reliable cars that I am selling cheap to get them out of my small driveway. Both were used by my kids for school. Both are now off to their careers in newer cars, leaving me with these two I need to sell. Both have clean titles. Both have had frequent fully synthetic oil changes and reliable. Neither ever gave us a serious problem.
2001 Honda Civic $3500
141k miles (nothing for a honda)
automatic
AC works fine but belt squeaks a bit when turned on.
Drivers window does not work
Radio face plate was stolen
Interior is average for a car this age.
2009 Hyundai Accent $4200
106k Miles Runs Like new
New Tires
Interior looks newish.very nice car
stick shift base model (ie no power windows or a/c)
Windshield is cracked but doesn't affect visibility. New windshield is ~$200 (already taken off of asking)
Check Engine light has came on and off for the past 65,000 miles. Each time codes read that O2 sensor heater coils are bad. I took it to Hyundai dealer several times under warranty. They replaced O2 sensors each time then erased codes. This is a minor error that does not affect vehicle performance so I just ignore the light when it comes on now that car is not under warranty.
You want a reliable vehicle for work or school? You won't beat either of these two for the price. I would not hesitate to road trip in either. Will consider offers after test drive only. 99.99% of cars on CL under 5k are absolute junk. I just did the search and only found 2 cars with under 150k miles that looked like they ran good.
