Vehicle Description
I am selling my Jeep because where I live now I can only have 1 vehicle and I have a long commute so I am opting for the more fuel efficient car. I have owned it for almost 3 years. It had only 100k on it at the time of purchase. It has approx 141,000 miles on it now. It was awesome in the snow, never had a problem driving in the worst snow storms to work both winters I drove it. The less I drove it this year the more I ended up fixing on it. I have done a ton of new parts, but there are a few more things to do. When I first got it we did 1 new front caliper and both rotors and pads. It has a new hard and soft brake line on the passenger front. The passenger front hub and universal was done in the last year. It has a whole new hood release unit (Mopar). New front Bilstiens. 1 new front tire. The whole cooling system is new including: thermostat and housing, coolant temp switch, radiator, upper and lower rad hoses, and both heater hoses. So the cooling system is strong. It also has a lot of new sensors (all Mopar no aftermarket junk) The whole cam position sensor unit, oil pressure sensor, and throttle body sensor (TPS). Just did new coil pack and plugs. Brand new starter about a year and a half ago. I put in new head lamps and bulbs and cleaned up the wiring and plugs as well. The interior is in excellent condition. Heat is nice and hot, but the ac needs to be recharged. The outside of the truck is usual Jeep. Rocker panels are rusty and there is a small hole in the passenger footwell that has developed. The hood is pretty scratched up as well. As stated before 1 tire is new and the other 3 have plenty of tread, but they are old the previous owners did not drive it enough to wear them out. The rear end needs new shocks and leaf springs (pretty saggy). Drum brakes in the rear could use a refresh as well. The last issues are the 2 codes it is throwing. The truck runs great, but once it is at operational temp it will buck and hesitate when starting from a dead stop at an intersection. I would love to get it resolved, but I work too much and have very little free time. It sucks I cannot keep it as I love it for winter driving. I am asking $2200, but the price is flexible. I got a lot of the little things out of the way, but if the person buying it is a handy mechanically inclined person with a knowledge o Jeeps then this could be a good vehicle to wrench on and get back on the road for this winter.
The truck is at my friend's shop in Hampstead, NH I live in Haverhill. He will be helping out if anyone wants to come look at it if I am at work. I am available on the weekends to be there in person. Thanks for looking, Greg
