Vehicle Description
For sale is a 2001 Land Rover Discovery project vehicle. It runs and drives but is in need of some work. Catalytic converter is damaged and will need to be replaced before it can be registered and driven on the road. I got started on this build ultimately ran out of time and money to put into it. I have removed interior parts such as the sunroof, headliner, and center console to prepare for wiring but all parts will be included. I have also removed the front bumper to make way for a new steel bumper.
Rover is currently on non-op with a damaged catalytic converter. Once catalytic converters are replaced, I have no reason to believe this car can’t run like a champ again.
I purchased this vehicle in 2019, changed spark plugs, stripped the interior, and fitted the vehicle with 4 brand new Hankook, DynaproAT2 off-road tires. Installed a rear ladder on the back, but that’s about it.
My intent was to have an LS swap done. (About $10,000) but after that’s done, it will be a strong, reliable off-roader. As-is the car could even be used for parts as a donor vehicle. Prior to me the car was serviced at a rover dealership for the majority of its life, it just needs a second chance!
Selling it to make space for a new baby!
*This car will need to be trailered offsite but does run and drive*
