Used 2001 Lexus ES300 for sale in Redondo Beach, CA

This car has been in the family for a few years and it's now time to sell. We bought it in late 2017 with 229,000 miles on it. Runs and drives great, starts and idles very smooth, air conditioning blows ice cold, no check engine light or other malfunctions. It's been a very reliable car for us.

Since we purchased it, the following items have been replaced:
- Lower control arms
- Front struts
- Drive axles
- Engine mounts
- Fuel pressure regulator
- Swaybar bushings
- Radiator and coolant hoses
- Alternator belt and power steering belt
- Battery
- Tires
- Front rotors and brake pads

The tires aren't brand new any more but still have plenty of tread left. Timing belt was replaced by the original owner prior to us purchasing it - see photos for details of date/mileage. Oil changed every six months (approximately 2500 miles - due to low use we changed it by date rather than mileage) with synthetic oil and a Toyota brand filter as long as we've owned it. This should continue to provide reliable transportation.

Please keep in mind this is a high mileage Lexus, so while the legendary Toyota/Lexus reliability is there the car does show its age/use. The paint has some flaws specifically the clear coat on the roof peeling and some other fading, dents, and scuffs. The interior shows some cracks in the leather and a large tear on the seam of the drivers seat. The carpets have some stains and could benefit from a deep cleaning. Mechanically it's fine but the rear struts sometimes creak when going over large dips. The valve cover gasket is slightly weeping - nothing major and certainly something I wasn't worried about since it's been like this as long as we've owned the car and hasn't gotten worse, but it's there and I want to be up front about everything I know about the car. The six-disc CD changer in the glovebox also does not work.

The car passed smog inspection a few months ago, however since it's been more than 90 days I'll get a new smog inspection as required to complete the sale.
