Vehicle Description
Selling my 2001 Subaru Outback with a manual transmission!
This vehicle has been my reliable daily driver for nearly 2 years now. I purchased the vehicle with 250k, and then had the classic Subaru head gasket issue, as well as some other stuff that prompted me to swap the current engine with a different, cleaner, 2.5 liter engine (the same model that was in the car). This engine had redone head-gaskets and was well maintained by the previous owner, and only had about 170k miles on it!
I got the vehicle DEQ passed, and recently purchased updated tags and plates. I have a title, it is salvage from an owner a few generations ago, but I suspect it was only minor damage as the car had been written off to be donated.
Since the purchase and engine swap I have completed a number of fixes to the vehicle to make it street worthy. They are as follows.
-Clutch replacement (as well as face plate)
-Shift knob bushings
-Front and rear 02 sensors
-Alpine stereo system
-Front Left and Right CV Axels
-Aftermarket Catalytic Converter
-Frequent Oil Changes every 3-5k
-Les Schwab Battery
-Fuel Pump
-Front Rotors (they had been previously warped, now no issues, and rest of brakes good)
-Spark Plugs
-Upper Radiator Hose
-Front Left and Right Control Arms
-Both inner and outer tie rods
-Front headlight bulbs
-New windshield wipers
Asking 5500.
