It’s 18 years old and has 240,000 miles, so it’s not new; the mileage is high, but the Chevy LS V8 is one of the most durable engines in history. The weak point of the Silverado 1500 is the 4L60 transmission, but it was replaced last year (have paperwork, transmission replace April 2018)
