Vehicle Description
For sale is a super solid 2001 Subaru Forester S wagon (AWD)
This vehicle was originally a Colorado vehicle (very little rust). I purchased in August of 2020 and has only been in Wisconsin since Nov 2020. That being said there is one visible spot of rust just below the driver's tail light. (See pic)
Vehicle has received a new battery, front CV axles, new front brake pads and rotors along with rear struts, bearings and brakes since I've owned it.
Vehicle is currently in my daily driver and the only time it didn't start was when it needed a battery. I put 50,000 miles on this vehicle and would trust it to drive from coast to coast today.
It's got almost 300,000 miles on it so it does have its quirks. The paint is far from perfect, front brake pads could probably be done again, there is a check engine light and the code reads an issue with the EVAP system. This makes it stubborn when filling, but with patience it'll take the gas. There is also damage to the driver side fender but all the lights and signals are intact. The tires are not new but they are definitely still illegal with about 10,000 miles of tread left.
If you're tired of everything getting wet in your pickup bed this may be a welcome change.
It's also a great candidate for a first vehicle being that there's only two seats in it and that will limit distractions for a new driver.
