Vehicle Description
Selling our 2001 Subaru Outback for parts or give it some TLC to keep it on the road. Selling “AS IS” as I don’t think it will pass inspection as it currently is. Drove it to Boston and back a few weeks ago so it is a drivable car. However:
1) There is a hole in the exhaust beneath the engine bay. I installed a new catalytic converter in it about a couple months ago but I’m thinking a weld failed somewhere.
2) One of the fuel lines in the engine bay must be bleeding as you can smell gas inside the car when it idles or when you run the heater fan.
3) Top of wheel wells and cab corners are rusted bad.
The interior of the car is very clean for its age and she runs well.
Asking $1200.00 or best offer.
