Vehicle Description
Putting my truck up for sale, 2001 Toyota Tacoma TRD off road 4x4 with the 5vz-fe 3.4L v6 motor with an automatic transmission. Four door crew cab with the short bed. Runs and drives great. Doesn't burn oil, doesn't drip leak any fluids. It has 244,000 miles and is my current daily driver. Clean title in hand. Great truck!
4x4 hi and low
locking rear diff with the grey wire mod (yes it actually works)
General Grabber x3 tires with decent tread left (about 50%) size 285/75r16
Aftermarket alloy rims
Tundra brake upgrade (braided brake lines, bigger rotors, calipers, and pads)
Old Man Emu suspension upgrade
Add a leaf in the rear
Remote autostart (great for winter!)
Husky floor mats (also great for winter)
Cruise control
Power windows
Power locks
A/C blows cold
Heat blows hot
Kenwood stereo with cd, aux, usb, and bluetooth input as well as hands free calling set up
Hard shell topper
Bed liner
Has some recently replaced parts such as the spark plugs, plug wires, coil packs, radiator, air filter, timing belt, timing pulleys, and timing belt tensioner as well as a few other things replaced in the last few years. The frame has been factory replaced when it had a recall issued. I have all of my maintenance records and receipts, and most of the records from the previous owner.
The bad: The windshield has a crack running across the bottom. The parking brake does not work. And it could probably benefit from some new front steering components in the near future (ball joints, tie rod ends, sway links, bushings). It has some rust on it but nothing major or cancerous. There is some tire road vibration at interstate speeds, tires might need to be rebalanced.
