2001 VW Jetta TDI @227,000 miles:
Car runs and drives excellent averaging 50+mpg. Paint and body in really good shape, front and back bumpers few blemishes. The ABS light is on, and has been that way since he's owned it.. Overall in great condition for it's age.
This was my son's high school car. He just bought a new one so the TDI needs a new home. He loved this car due to the fact he hardly ever had to put fuel in it.
The water pump, timing belt, brakes, were all replaced with new parts 3 years ago. The automatic transmission was professionally serviced at the same time.
The interior is in great condition with new leather upholstery.
The stereo works good with one front speaker out of commission. The previous owner had subwoofers in the trunk and the feeder cables are still intact.
The tires are still like brand new.
It has keyless entry with power locks, cruise control, telescoping steering wheel. It was just gone through by Motor Mania in N Austin, with a clean bill of health and oil change.
