Vehicle Description
Here is a 2002 Acura TL. I purchased this car from a grandmother in Minnesota who mainly took it to church and the grocery store. I would NOT be selling this and really don't want to, however, I have moved out to vail colorado and bought a Toyota 4 runner for the mountains. The car is at my parent's house in Ames, IA. I realize that a lot of people exaggerate the value of their cars on craigslist when selling them, however, I am not going to do that. Literally, nothing is wrong with this car because I have had it serviced on a very regular basis. The old lady who owned the car would take it to an Acura dealer quarterly (4 times a year). I have all the service records to prove it (look at photos). You can even ask my parents. This car will go for another 100,000 miles easy.
One of the key services that was done is the transmission ($2,000). This generation is famous for being a maintenance-free fast car, with the exception of the stock transmission. The transmission of this generation can be in rough shape around the 120,000-180,000 mile range (look it up on Edmonds.com). That's why people will try and sell them for so cheap. However, if the transmission gets redone then the whole story changes. In which case this one has. The transmission was done around 100,000.
It also has the V-tec 6 cyl engine (in all honda civics) with more power, yet, gets great gas mileage.
I would make a pros and cons list, but the only con is that the tire tread is at 75% and the hood needs a new hydraulic lift that I forgot to get fixed (like $30). A little dusty on the outside. Everything works perfectly. The sunroof is awesome!
Fast and good mpg
Check engine is NOT on
I have many more routine service records, however, I just put the main ones on.
No rust
My parents will be showing the car as I am in Colorado. Take it for a spin and feel the power and durability.
please text me at 515 - 4 five 1 - six 3 seven 1......and I will give you a call about the car.
