Vehicle Description
I've had my Z06 since early 2017 and have been taking care of it since! I bought it with 87,000 miles and am currently at 89,500. Only ~5,200 miles a year!
Clean title in hand.
The previous owner put an oil catch can on, works well at minimizing oil burnoff. Passes smog since it still has the PCV check valve. The car also has a Vararam Intake with washable filter.
In late 2017 I had some work done:
- Monster Level 2 Clutch & Flywheel Package (torque capacity: 550).
- Stainless clutch bleed line.
- New set of spark plugs.
- NGK spark plug wires with heat resistant boots.
- Cleaning of the air filter using Vararam cleaning oil.
- New accessory belts.
- Replaced the transmission fluid.
- Replaced the differential fluid.
In November of 2019:
- New battery.
- Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
- Alignment at West End Alignment.
It handles really well now, and the tires have barely any wear on them.
I have a clean Autocheck report from October of 2017 as well as some vehicle history from the early 2000's.
I have changed the oil & filter twice since owning with Pennzoil Platinum.
Keep changing oil and the car should be good to go for a long time coming.
Cosmetically it's in pretty good shape. Some chips in the paint here and there, a couple cracks in trim (the heads up display surround is probably the worst), and the occasional squeak when driving. There are cosmetic cracks in the front passenger wheel well housing and around the passenger rear brake cooling intake. It looks like the previous owner put some sound deadening under the rear carpets, so the trim in the trunk area isn't perfect.
Stock titanium exhaust so it's not overly loud. I'll also include an aftermarket exhaust I took off.
Currently I have a Sparco Evo III driver seat mounted in the car using a Marrad seat mount. I would be putting the stock seat back in.
Brake pads should be good for another 15K miles or so.
Let me know if you have any questions! This car would make for a great everyday car as is or would be a great base to build a Spec Corvette!
