Vehicle Description
2002 Chevrolet Suburban LT 1500 with roughly 223,000 miles - runs great. Cruise control, sunroof, 4wd, heated front seats, 2nd row captain’s chairs – seats 7 – it has power mirrors but the switch is going bad.
Regular oil changes every 4000 miles since 2009. Nonsmoker. No pets except a couple times a year to get to the vet.
New rear differential installed in May (cost roughly $2,000), new front AC system three years ago (roughly $1,300). It has relatively new brakes. The brake lines have been replaced.
The rear subwoofer died and was removed. The original air-ride system no longer works. Regular shocks were installed and can be pumped up as needed when towing (but they do have a slight leak and have to be checked every few days). You can pump them up with a regular bicycle tire pump using a valve near the rear license plate.
We’ve had it since 2009 and used it as a second vehicle and to tow a camper, go on vacations, etc. 5.3L V8 averages about 14-17 mpg and takes about 25 gallons to fill up.
Overall, still a solid truck but is rusting quite a bit and there is a small dent in the driver’s side rear panel. If interested, please contact me at nine three seven five four six three five two six.
