This is a one owner 2002 Corvette C5 Z06 purchased new through Rick “Covette” Conti at Spitzer Auto World in Ohio. The car currently has 26,600 miles and it is in near perfect condition. This car has never seen rain, never spent a night outside, and is very rarely driven after dark. The car has been street driven only; it has never seen a race track of any kind. This car is one of 8297 Z06 produced in 2002. The Z06 package equips the car with a 405hp LS6 V8 and 6 speed manual transmission as well as performance suspension, and titanium exhaust. The exterior color is Quicksilver Metallic with Torch Red Interior, a rare combination. This car is optioned with heads up display, memory seats, body side moldings, and electrochromatic mirrors. The tires are almost new Michelin Pilot Sports in factory size.
The car has a very rare Corsa titanium exhaust system. The Z06 came from the factory with titanium exhaust and nearly all of the aftermarket options were stainless steel, adding a significant amount of weight. Corsa produced the titanium system for a short time after the car was released. This system was installed directly by Corsa.
In 2009 Livernois Motorsports in metro Detroit installed their “Stage 2” kit. This kit consisted of CNC ported heads, Cam, long tube stainless headers, and dyno tune. This added 70HP at the rear wheels for a total of 445RWHP.
In 2012 Livernois Motorsports replaced the factory clutch with a LS7 clutch and aluminum flywheel.
