Vehicle Description
This converted Eurovan has been a great Gorge vehicle, carrying our gear to local spots and acting as a streamlined, cozy camper on overnight and extended trips. We love this van and are reluctantly selling it to up-size to a larger van. Please do not make an appointment to see it unless you are a serious buyer.
This is the passenger Weekender edition with a Westfalia pop-top tent, rear-facing second row seats (2), front facing rear bench seat (seats 3) that converts into a bed, cooler box, window curtains, fold-away table, 3 flip-down cup holders, and convertible attic that sleeps 2. We have owned this vehicle since 2009, and the first pictures show that we converted the van for super-efficient camping. It was done in such a way that everything is removable, and it can be put back into passenger/Weekender mode anytime. The last 3 pictures are not our vehicle but another showing what the seat arrangement is when they are installed.
The conversion includes thoughtful, space-saving storage for camping essentials, a storage box/seat that was sized to fit a small cassette toilet should you want to take one along, locking storage for valuables, a convertible/telescoping bed ( 63” wide at the shoulders, 47” wide at the feet, 74” long when extended), soft storage for clothes and jackets, Marmoleum flooring for easy cleaning (there is still factory carpet under the bed), Yakima Widebody roof rack mounting brackets (clamps and bars not included), 50 W removeable solar panel, solar charger, solar inverter, and auxiliary battery.
We have performed regular maintenance and have all our service records.
This van runs well and looks good for its age, but it is 20 years old, so it isn’t perfect. The known flaws are as follows: Check Engine light remains on due to sensors that do not affect performance. On cold start, engine prefers warm-up. Dent in the rear door (pictured) which does not affect the operation or gasket. Normal wear to the paint such as some scuffs, scratches and small chips from rocks. Small tear in window tint on back driver’s side window. Hole on inside paneling of rear hatch. Fading, staining and small (mostly pin) holes in canvas pop-tent (all patched). Finnicky inside passenger door release. Key fob buttons no longer work. Auto-locks work with key but sliding door must be manually checked. Possibly a torn driver inner CV boot and driver lower ball joint boot. Small hole in front passenger seat upholstery. Rear speakers are blown, but does not affect listening in front of vehicle. Chips on exterior side rear view mirror housings. Minor delamination around driver’s side exterior windows. Scratches on roof from grazing garage door. Power mirrors currently no working.
Clean title. No financing, cash only.
