Vehicle Description
2002 Ford Mustang automatic 3.8 V6 164k. Starts, runs, shifts, and drives very well. At some point, a previous owner installed what appears to be Roush cosmetic parts including front bumper, rear bumper, side flarings, and side exit 3" exhaust (sounds good, but not annoying.) The car has some new parts including the idle air control valve, and throttle position sensor (OEM motorcraft.) BRAND NEW Goodyear Eagle Sport tires. Has a few dents and scratches but is overall still a nice looking car that definitely turns heads. Black cloth interior is in great shape. I am selling because in the last year and a half that I have owned the car, I have only put about 3,000 miles on it and simply cannot justify keeping it, but it is a fun and comfortable car to drive.
***The car has a recurring code P0455 which is an EVAP System Gross vacuum leak. This does not affect drivability, but will throw a Check Engine Light after about 100 miles. Even still, the car did pass E-check for me in 2018. I have briefly smoke tested it, and the only thing that I have found to be at fault is the fuel filler neck. I do not have time to fix it at the moment, and I would like to sell the car before winter in order to avoid paying license and insurance for another year. If I am unable to sell before winter, I will fix it and as a result, the price will go up $1,000. Also has an exhaust leak on cold start, but goes away after about 30 seconds. Other than that, it is very smooth running and driving. Asking $4,000 OBO Clean Title in hand. Email me any time, I will get back to you asap.
-Thanks for looking! I do NOT need help selling!
