Looking for a deal on a cheap diesel ? Here it is.
2002 GMC 3500 SLT dually, R-title
8’ long bed
Crew cab w/leather
6.6L turbo diesel
167”WB
Inspected this month (passed PA enhanced inspection easily in 2019)
Desirable LB7 transmission which runs & shifts very smoothly. Great shape.
6 new 10-ply (not cheapos) tires + alignment (November 2021)
Body is a 7 out of 10 for the age:
Bed is rough inside (it’s been a work truck)
Bed outside is decent
Tailgate is rough
Rear bumper great shape
Rockers were done a few years back and still look good
Not much paint fade around the truck but some clear coat is starting to peel ontop of the wheel wells
Whole front cab is almost all new done by a Gm body shop.
I hit a big doe Oct 2019 = $8,100 work put into it:
New hood and latches-2019
New grill, fender and shrouds-2019
New front qtr panels-2019
New front bumper and clips-2019
New radiator-2019
New trans cooler-2019
New condensor-2019
New HD battery-2019
Interior is rough (it’s been a work truck for my roofing crew)
Other work I’ve done since 2019:
New fuel pump
New fuel pressure regulator
3 injectors
Front upper ball joints
Outer tie rods
New power steering box & fluid flush/replacement
After all that, it just started smoking again. (insert facepalm here)
I bought it then put over $17k worth of work into the truck just to make the decision that it doesn’t represent my small growing business anymore. My loss, your gain. $12,000 OBO
