Vehicle Description
Summer is over so I'm dropping the price. This M3 was custom ordered new under BMW's "individual" program in Estoril Blue, their finest color (in my opinion) but not normally available on any E46. The interior combo Dove Gray/Myrtlewood is also an individual option. The seats do have some cracked leather as shown.
This M3 originally came with the SMG II transmission but I had it professionally (Kaiv in San Diego ) converted to a full manual 6 speed last year (@132,000 miles).
In addition to the transmission it also got...
-Vanos rebuild with Besian Systems parts
-Rear subframe restoration with AKG reinforcement kit
-New rod bearings, motor mounts, and front control arm bushings
-New valve cover and oil pan gaskets
-New belts and belt tensioner
Just had (June 2019) the Vanos control module replaced by BMW Seattle along with an oil change and a clean bill of health*.
*The windshield wiper fluid sensor occasionally acts up and indicates the fluid is low (pictured) when it's fine, but I didn't feel like dropping $600 on that part.
The wheels and brakes are OEM parts for the E46 M3 competition package (ZCP) even though that package wasn't offered on the convertible.
The bumper was replaced a few years ago with a Euro OEM bumper (no ugly reflectors or covers.)
The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ with about 6,000 miles on them.
Additional non-stock parts include: BMW OEM Windscreen, UUC 'Sway Barbarian' front and rear sway bars, Active Autowerke Exhaust(♫♥♫♥♫♥), and a K&N Intake(The box says 10 horsepower!).
Clean Washington title, tabs were renewed this April.
I know you can find other E46 M3s for cheaper, but not in this overall condition and certainly not in this color.
