Vehicle Description
2002 Mistubishi Montero XLS V6 3.5 litre, 2 wheel / on demand 4 Wheel drive.
This vehicle is non running currently as it needs a new head gaskets and cylinder heads (left / passenger side warped after overheating coming over the pass from Wenatchee)
Has 4 brand new All Season / All Weather tires put on it the week before on the factory alloy rims. Also have a second set of Regular Street tires (All 4 + Spare mounted on back) Back / Third row seat, roof rack bars, power windows / power mirrors.
All four rotors, calipers and pads replaced the month before the head gasket blew. The body is straight no damage but some weather wear and scratches. Has high mileage 258k + and would need the timing belt replaced.
This is an all or nothing deal - I won't part it out so please don't ask. Firm on the price as I put $1500 into both sets of tires and $2700 into the breaks all within a few months of the engine issues.
Individually parted out this vehicle is worth way more, just the doors alone can fetch that much, not to mention the seats and all the other parts on it. I am in no rush to sell as Eventually I will just make it into a 4X project once I have a garage.
I've researched the vehicle thoroughly and owned it for over ten years. I have the tools and knowledge to replace the engine myself just not the time currently. I've found engines for it for $1500. But it only needs a new head and gasket (around $400) not a whole new engine, and I can and will do the work when I have the time, unless someone is willing to buy it for my price. I'm in no hurry to sell it. If someone wanted to part it out the doors alone go for $300 each and the back hatch around $600 ($1800). It has fully new complete breaks and new tires (2 sets). The factory rims go for around $150 each ($750). Everything but the engine on this rig works.
$1800 firm no haggling. I would consider a partial / full trade for small good quality enclosed utility trailer for hauling my camping gear.
