Vehicle Description
2002 Pontiac Montana tan mini van. 229,000 miles. Good title. Starts good and running well. Cloth seats that fold or remove for hauling cargo. Has roof rack. Heat and air work well.
Features that irritated me somewhat but I lived with just fine for years: I let a rust spot on roof at windshield by driver get a little too rusty. Will leak in heavy rain so I usually kept van in carport or garaged. Front windows work but can stick so I tended to avoid drive thru and just opened windows a few inches for air flow. Radio am/fm and CD player work fine but digital display doesn't light up. Have some preset channels and use controls on steering wheel. Driver's side electric seat doesn't move but I've never had to move it anyway. Like most old vehicles, I carry with me and check fluids weekly - oil, power steering fluid, antifreeze, and washer fluid. Has some leaks but dealt with it for years just fine. Has been a while since it's had a tune up and oil change so probably could use them. Check engine light has been on for years and the code is an oxygen sensor (pollution control stuff). There's an Advanced Auto Parts in Deer Park that will scan for free so you're welcome to verify.
Just had $200+ worth of new brake lines professionally installed. Also battery pretty new 11/2017. Power mirrors both work. Has cruse control but I don't think I've ever used it. Has spare tire and jack. Tires seem OK. drives pretty straight. Contact me for more details or to check it out. Reply with something specific in subject line so I know it's not a scan message. Want to sell before I have to renew plates. $900 OBO. I have not raised the price even after paying for brake lines.
*** It's always free to come see it. You're not obligated to buy it if you look it over and it's not for you. I will negotiate but it's being sold AS-IS. Bring a license plate, cash, insurance card and a way home for your drop off driver. And whoever replies and really wants to see it, I need a name and phone #. Too much hiding behind emails and then not answering on the last round. And those multiple no shows can't happen again. Time is money. By the way, the pull-and-pay quoted me $340 for it, so whoever buys it has that option later I'd imagine if/when it gives out or they don't want it anymore.
Thanks
