Vehicle Description
This is not a daily driver but it is a fun car. Manual transmission. 200k miles. Comes with 2 sets of tires. One set of Kumho Ecstas (new) on alloy rims and one set of Bridgestone Blizzak winter tires (good condition) on the original rims. Clean title and no liens.
Previous owners have made several mods including aftermarket exhaust, coilovers, and air intake duct removal (a replacement duct comes with the car). The car corners incredibly well thanks to the coilovers.
Previous owners also installed an aftermarket Pioneer Bluetooth stereo (included), amp and sub (not included), and light bar. The wiring job was not very good and there is a parasitic load on the battery so a battery maintainer is also included.
I have had issues with misfire codes for each of the cylinder (never all at the same time though). Could be any cylinder at any time but normally there doesn’t seem to performance issues. I have tried to diagnose the problem but still get the codes. I have replaced the plugs (iridium) and coils, and pressure tested the cylinders (driver side front: 122 psi, driver side rear: 124 psi, passenger side front: 144 psi, passenger side rear: 138 psi). My guess is the aforementioned wiring jobs have created an electrical issue that causes the misfires. I’m not very electrically minded so I haven’t attempted to sort that out.
Other than the misfires it’s in good mechanical condition. The only other issues are the AC system having a leak (pretty sure the gaskets need to be replaced), and the gas gauge isn’t very accurate when it gets below half a tank. I’ve done my own oil changes with Mobile 1 and Wix filters. I have only used non-ethanol premium gasoline.
I’ve owned it since 2016 and have only put about 4k miles on it. I’ve stored it in a garage the whole time but the previous owner was a college kid in Wisconsin so it has seen some winters. There is some body rust around the wheel wells. There are lots of dings and scratches. The previous owner sold with a replacement front quarter panel that I never got around to doing anything with. It’s yours if you want it. The interior is in good condition but shows the wear of a 20-year old car. I recently replaced the rear door struts so the door doesn’t fall on your head.
It's a fun car to drive. Cash only. Text fourzerotwo-sevenzeronine-eightsixfoursix with a any questions.
