Vehicle Description
Honestly not in a rush to sell, car is probably worth closer to 2500 but in a game of "Would You Rather", have a beat up RSX Type-S or $3700, I'd rather have a beat up RSX Type-S personally.
Car is a beast in terms of reliability, just doesn't quit, but odometer reads 215,000 now. I purchased from a friend who owned a mechanic shop when odometer said 158,000 but they had put in a motor with 50,000 when I got it so motor probably has 110,000 miles on it. It drives and you can still open it up on the highway but it's not fast in my opinion. Just fun to shift through the 6 gears. I don't know alot about cars and didn't know what modifications were made when I bought the car. I'll list what's wrong with it and I'd estimate it'd cost another $4000 in repairs if you bought nice new parts for everything.
A/C doesn't work, metal straps holding center of exhaust have come off, I think previous owner took out catalytic converter to make it louder? Idk, but I think it has an exhaust leak, car shakes over 50mph, wheels might be bent and probably needs new struts, car is lowered so I've struggled to find someone who can do an alignment on it, probably needs new shocks, I'd suggest new tires, tires r low profile, top paint is chipped and faded, leather seats r torn up, I purchased covers for them, the latch to lower one of the backseats is broken and requires small pliers to operate, driver window works but slightly off the track so you to go slow at the top, car alarm goes off if you unlock from driver side door, turn key in passenger door to turn off alarm, you can lock from driver side but must unlock from passenger side to avoid this, a girl dented the side there doing a 3 point turn in my apartment complex
This isn't my daily driver anymore, clutch cylinders are pretty new, you can drive this car across the country as is if you really wanted to but I'd recommend a new exhaust, new struts, tires, wheels, brakes, rotors, A/C basically a must in the south,
