Vehicle Description
2003 Chevy Duramax Diesel 2500 Heavy Duty. 6.6L turbo diesel engine. Alison transmission. Hitch, rack, and locking tool boxes along sides of bed. Rear wheel drive.
I have not been in possession of this truck for very long; around a month. Thus I can only sell it "as-is where-is." I believe it's a fundamentally sound and solid work truck with low mileage and a long life ahead of it. I believe the motor, transmission, suspension, steering etc are sound and solid. But it does have a list of little things which I've just now gotten time to begin to address.
-Horn doesn't work, probably switch in the steering wheel, though it could be a relay in the fuse box.
-Heater / AC blower fan doesn't work, probably a $10 rheostat switch located by the passanger's left foot.
-tailgate latch handle missing. Can be opened, but it's a trick.
-two door latches damaged, can be opened with other latches.
-electric seat adjustment controls work but cover is missing. Should be replaced and attached.
-two armrest electronic controls loose.
-missing spare tire.
-seen to drip some oil earlier, though the drips seem to be tailing off. Possibly was over-filled earlier and leaking from the cap on top.
-minor body damage and scratches.
Passed smog yesterday (friday 10/18)
Call or text Charlie at any time.
