Vehicle Description
I have for sale my 2003 Chevy Suburban LT 1500. It has 258,300 miles on it. It drives and shifts good. No mechanical issues but a few small electrical issues that don’t hinder driving. Has had proper maintenance over the years at least while I’ve owned it. Tires are very decent with about 50%+ tread left on it. Brakes are good and fluids are all good as well. The transmission, front and rear differential, transfer case, brake, radiator and engine oils/fluids were all replaced within the past 2 years and 15k miles or so. Below are all the options this Suburban has and below that the bad issues:
5.3 liter, V8 Vortec engine with Flex Fuel (E85)
Automatic transmission
4x4 (push button select with auto 4x4)
Seats 7, middle row captain chairs
Leather interior
Tow package
Power locks/windows
Power and heated front seats
Moon roof
On-star
Aftermarket Sony head unit with USB and Aux input-no CD player, factory Bose sound
Front and rear AC (AC was just recharged with leak fixed)
Front and side front seat airbags
Rear wiper/washer/defogger
ABS
Tilt steering
Cruise control
Power adjustable foot pedals
Power folding/heated/dimming exterior mirrors
Fog lights and aftermarket Hella auxiliary lights
Roof rack
K&N reusable air filter
Here are the issues:
-Driver mirror has an issue with the auto dimming (almost all the mirror juice has drained out) and will probably need replacing-see picture
-Some rust at various parts of the vehicle-see pictures
-driver side heated seat element doesn’t work
-driver control for locks and window works but not very well
-some small holes/tears/leather flaking on driver seat-not very big
Everything else works!
Overall this Suburban is in good condition and mechanically in good condition compared to many at this price. We drove this to California almost 3 years ago with no problems. We used it for all travelling including several trips to Minnesota and other surrounding states. It’s very comfortable to ride in and gets decent MPG (we got an average of 16-17 MPG out to California with me, my wife, our four kids and all our gear.
It has only stranded us once, this past March when it blew a head gasket. We had it fixed and it has run great ever since. There’s a new battery and the air conditioning was recently recharged. We just got a newer vehicle and no longer need it and hope someone else can take it in and use it like we did. The title is with our bank. Asking $3200
