Vehicle Description
This is a beast of a truck and not from the Northeast. I purchased it in Tennessee and it shows underneath. No rust on the frame, just a very small bubble above the back wheel on the bed. It hauled a 5th wheel from the south with no problem whatsoever. Gooseneck still installed in the bed. 4 wheel drive, turbo, electric windows and locks. Carfax is clean with regular maintenance. Bluebook is around $14k without the new transmission
I have put in a lot of work into it in the last 6 months:
New Ford heavy duty transmission with transmission cooler ($6500)
New alternator
New rear bearings
New brakes
All four tires have about 1,500 miles on them with great tread
Aftermarket stereo with Bluetooth
My mechanic up here was shocked at the quality and suspects this will be one of the 7.3's that makes it to 450k miles. Currently has 223k miles, still a ton of life left.
The only downside a some small cosmetic ding on the top of the cab, maybe 4" and as it is an older diesel, sometimes a tough start in the cold. If it is plugged in for an hour, it'll start up.
I am selling because we won't be moving the camper any longer and need a smaller, commuter truck.
Email with questions or offers. It is a great truck for the right person.
